Bodyweight Training
Transform your body
without a gym
Calisthenics is bodyweight training that lets you progress
wherever you want, whenever you want.
The ultimate minimalist sport.
What is calisthenics?
Calisthenics is a type of physical training based on a series of bodyweight exercises. These focus on body movements, using your own weight as resistance, with little or no equipment. The goal? Develop strength, agility, coordination and endurance.
Why would you start calisthenics?
No time for the gym…
You'd love to build muscle but your schedule is already too packed to add gym commutes.
Memberships cost too much
You don't want to spend $40–60/month on a gym you might never go to.
Don't know where to start
You want to progress but feel lost facing all the exercises and programs out there.
Calisthenics is your body, your GYM
Calisthenics is the art of training with your own bodyweight.
No machines. No expensive equipment. Just you, your body, and your motivation.
From total beginner to advanced athlete, there's always an adapted progression.
At home, in the park, travelling. You train wherever you want.
Strength, endurance, mobility, aesthetics: complete physical development.

Master dips →Plank
The classic core exercise. You'll also learn a ton of variations to keep things challenging.
Plank guide →What are the origins of calisthenics?
Calisthenics traces its origins to ancient Greece. The name comes from the Greek words kallos (beauty) and sthenos (strength). It was strongly integrated into Swedish gymnastics in the modern era, giving it a dual origin, both ancient and modern, which we find fascinating.
The term "Calisthenics" was popularised in the United States in the mid-19th century by Catharine Beecher, an educator who drew inspiration from Swedish gymnastics. Calisthenics then referred to a method of physical exercises taught in schools, primarily for girls.
What's the difference between calisthenics and street workout?
Honestly, not much. The two practices are largely the same. "Street workout" is simply calisthenics practised in an urban setting, typically in outdoor parks or equipped playgrounds. Same exercises, different scenery.
